Who operates this site

FreeInvoicePDF is a free tool from Tiny Utility Lab. We do not ask you to create an account. This policy covers freeinvoicepdf.com and the Photo Contract PDF tool at photocontract.freeinvoicepdf.com, which is built the same way and shows no ads. Nothing leaves the browser

The invoice and estimate forms, live preview, logo, line items, tax, notes, and PDF file are created entirely in your browser. We do not run a server that receives, stores, or emails your document contents. We do not use those contents for advertising.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, passwords, or customer records
• No invoice or estimate numbers, line items, or uploaded logos sent to our servers
• No payment processing, bank details storage, or recurring billing
• No analytics of our own (no Vercel Analytics, no Google Analytics), no tracking pixels, and no mailing list. The only third-party script is the Google ad script described under Ads and cookies.
• We do not sell the information you type into the tool. Google’s ad cookies are described under Ads and cookies.

Drafts saved on your device

So a refresh does not lose your work, the invoice or estimate you are editing is written to your browser’s local storage on your own device. Your From details, logo, and preferred currency are also saved as a small business profile so the next invoice or estimate can start with them already filled in. None of this is transmitted to us, and we cannot read it. These are the local storage keys the site uses:

• freeinvoicepdf:draft:v1 for the invoice you are editing
• freeinvoicepdf:estimate-draft:v1 for the estimate you are editing
• freeinvoicepdf:business-profile:v1 for your From details, logo, and currency
• freeinvoicepdf:theme for the light or dark appearance
• photocontract:draft:v1 for a contract draft on photocontract.freeinvoicepdf.com

How to clear saved data

Next time you open the tool you are asked whether to restore an unfinished draft. “Discard” deletes it. “Start fresh” asks first, then clears the document you are working on and its saved draft, but keeps your business profile. On photocontract.freeinvoicepdf.com the same button is called “Reset”. “Clear saved business info” removes the business profile.

To remove everything at once, clear site data for freeinvoicepdf.com in your browser settings. In most browsers you can also click the icon next to the address bar and choose the option to clear or delete site data. Once it is gone we cannot restore it, because we never had a copy.

Logos from a file or URL

A file you choose is read locally with the browser File API. If you paste an image URL, your browser fetches that image directly. FreeInvoicePDF does not proxy or persist that image.

Ads and cookies

Ads keep the tool free, and advertising is the only way this site makes money. We use Google AdSense. Ad units appear on the invoice generator, on the guides, and on the invoice template landings (blank template, freelance invoicing, freelancer, consultant, and small business templates, plus the contractor and photographer invoice templates). Each one is labelled as an advertisement. The contractor estimate page has no ad units and does not include the Google ad script.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. These cookies and similar identifiers are also used to measure ads. A request for an ad carries the usual ad-serving data, such as an approximate location from your IP address, your user agent, and whether an ad has already been shown to you. That is separate from your invoice: what you type in the form is never sent to an advertiser.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Opting out does not remove ads. You will still see them, but they will not be based on your browsing. What Google does with data on partner sites is described in its own policy.

Hosting

The static site and JavaScript are hosted on Vercel. Hosting logs may include typical request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) for security and operations. Those logs are not invoice contents.

Requests about your data

Because there are no accounts and no user database, we normally hold nothing about you to look up, correct, or delete. Anything the tool creates lives in your browser, and you can remove it yourself as described under How to clear saved data. Children

This site is meant for people creating business invoices and estimates, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. The current text on this page is the policy that applies.
