The service

FreeInvoicePDF lets you fill in an invoice or contractor estimate in your browser and download a PDF. It is operated by Tiny Utility Lab. There is no account, no paywall, and no hosted document archive. The site may show advertisements so the tool can stay free. Because it is free, we do not promise support, uptime, or that a feature will stay exactly as it is today. These terms also cover the Photo Contract PDF tool at photocontract.freeinvoicepdf.com, which works the same way: it runs in your browser, has no account, and sends nothing to us.

As-is, no warranties

The tool is provided free of charge, as-is, and as-available. Tiny Utility Lab does not warrant that the generator, preview, or PDF will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or accepted by a client, lender, tax authority, or court. Totals, dates, tax, discounts, and layout are whatever you enter. Download the file and check it before you send it.

Not legal, tax, or accounting advice

FreeInvoicePDF is not a law firm, accountant, or payment processor. Sample templates, notes, tax fields, and estimate layouts are conveniences, not advice. Invoice numbering, VAT/GST, retention, licensing, and contract terms are your responsibility. If you need advice, talk to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

The same applies to the guides. They describe general commercial practice, written by the people who build this tool rather than by lawyers or accountants, and they say where a question depends on your jurisdiction instead of answering it for you. Read them as background, not as advice you can rely on.

Client-side processing

Invoice, estimate, and contract contents, logos, and PDFs are created in your browser with pdf-lib. We do not operate a server that receives or stores those documents. Drafts, your saved business profile, and the appearance setting stay in this browser’s storage until you clear them, which also means we cannot recover them for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put in the file and for how you keep or share that file.

Ads

Advertising is how this free site is funded. Ad units appear on the invoice generator, the guides, and the invoice template landings (including contractor and photographer), labelled as advertisements, and the contractor estimate page carries none. Advertising partners, including Google, may set cookies or collect standard ad-serving data when ads are shown. That is separate from your invoice, which they never receive. Nothing in the guides is a paid placement or an affiliate link. See Privacy for what we do and do not collect.

Acceptable use

Do not use the generator to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful documents, or to impersonate someone else. We may block abusive traffic to keep the site available.

Branding

FreeInvoicePDF and Tiny Utility Lab names and site design are ours. You may use and send the PDFs you generate. You may not scrape, resell, or present this site as your own product.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Utility Lab is not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the tool or a PDF you generate. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service, which is zero.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
